Admission and Enrolment
** PLEASE DESCRIBE THIS IMAGE **

There are three steps to becoming a bona fide registered student, namely:

1. Informative Session

Detailed Informative sessions are conducted at our office which prospective students must attend at their convenience.
Parents and sponsors are more than welcome and in fact, their presence is strongly encouraged.
These sessions are held at our office in Green Point, are free of charge and there is no obligation to join by attending.
Please make an appointment by contacting the office.
At the conclusion of this Informative Session, all relevant documentation will be provided and prospective students will be notified immediately if they have been accepted.

2. Application Form

The prospective student, parents, guardians and sponsors are required to carefully complete the course Application Form and Conditions of Enrolment.
Students must read, sign and date all pages of the application form and sign to confirm that they have read and understood all conditions of becoming a student with IHE (SA).
Parents or sponsors are also to sign and date each page.
An ID photograph is to be attached to the Application Form.
The Application Form is available from the office upon request.
No registration or administration fees are charged by the Institute.

3. Tuition Fees

A deposit is required to secure a prospective student's place. Details of course fees are available from the office upon request.
Courses may be done in combination and in such instances, a special discounted rate of fees will apply.

Course Standards

As our students are prospective Hospitality Professionals the expected standards of behaviour are high and students are required to be self-disciplined and professional to be successful.

Students who fail to:
• act in the manner required or
• comply with the course and Campus policy
will find themselves subject to disciplinary procedures, which may include expulsion from the course without refund of any fees already paid.

All students will be issued with a Student Handbook at Induction that contains the comprehensive Code of Conduct, Rules, Regulations, Policies and Procedures of the IHE (SA).

This Code of Conduct is to be followed closely and will be strictly enforced.

International Students

International students are invited to make application to study, and the Institute has welcomed students from many countries worldwide, including but not limited to Africa, Europe, UK, USA and Canada.

South African Legislation requires that all international students must be in possession of:
• A valid passport
• A valid study permit
• Full medical cover with a South African Medical Aid Scheme (including Medical Reports)
• Proof of the ability to support themselves financially and to pay their tuition fees

NOTE: The onus is on the student to acquire the relevant permits and paper work.

For further detailed and current information all international students are to consult with the South African Consulate in their country of origin.

The Institute will assist international students by providing the required Acceptance letter and any other documentation required by the Consulate.

International students are required to pay the course tuition fees in full prior to the commencement of the course.
