Teaching Method

The Mode of Delivery for all programmes is contact education, which includes personal interaction with lecturers and industry experts through lectures, practicals, demonstrations, outings and work groups.

Industry employment is a vital part of the programme as this is where students develop their practical skills, their first hand knowledge of the industry and start to build their CVs.

All classes are held at the designated lecture venues.

Correspondence courses are not available.

Language

The language of instruction, examinations and administration for all programmes at the Institute is English.

This is the language in which all lectures, tests, class work, projects, assignments and practical assessments are to be completed.

Students therefore need to be proficient in English to the extent that they can read, write and understand it.

Should a student not feel sufficiently confident in English, we are able to refer them for English Proficiency Training.
